She was found at Pasar Burung, Pramuka like 2 years back, bought by a Lady who feel pity on her.

Now the Lady was to troublesome to keep her, than made a call to Farm Department to take her in to the pond at Ragunan.

Farm Dept, feel that if she is put in to the pond, she would not survived, she was to attached to human already, need hommy care and love. Than he call us to find a temporary foster home before we can take her back to her habitat in Sumatra Island.

After taking to her new foster parent, we started to find a way for her to get back to her real habitat, which we find no solution until today.

We made called to Profauna, IAR, which refers us to Kalaweit Foundation, PPS at Gadok which no already closed down, tried to get PPS Tegal Alur, but none of them yet can give solution, due to not enough space and fund.

With the help of JAAN, we are going to try to get her to Lampung for rehabilitation first before we can send her to Bukit Barisan, which proposed to be the next sanctuary for Gibbons, like Kalaweit, at Marak Island, Padang.

As been told that currently already got 3 other young Gibbon at Lampung, waiting to get release back to the nature, but sadly due to funding and legal permission from the government which still under progress, they still stuck at Lampung,

Anyone have any advised or a better solution for any more of those poor baby Gibbons’ life that might, by today in danger of being capture and ready to sell at illegal black market.
